 7 out of 10 Ghanaians today own a smartphone. Obviously, since every smartphone is internet compatible this makes Ghana one of the fastest growing developing countries on the web.

Brick and mortal businesses now seeing the merits associated with online businesses are leveraging the digital ecosystem to attract ,engage and delight many clients as possible. How fast are these smart business moving compared to already established brands taking the frontline?


  •  Jumia Ghana is so far leading in the e-commerce marathon. With over 100 local partners, 1 million plus subscribers and 4 other diversifications in food, hotel and flight, classifieds,etc it will be very difficult for smaller businesses to run shoulders with this tycoon unless they join them.

Some leaders are called; others elected, some appointment while a few inherit. One such high position that has being in existence since the era of civilization is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Judicature. Sir Arku Korsah In 1956; the year before Ghana's independence,  Sir Kobina Arku  became the first Chief Justice. He was appointment by the Head of State, Dr.Kwame Nkrumah and this norm of the Executive appointing the President of the Judiciary has come to stay. Nkrumah sacked Sir Arku as Chief Justice in December 1963 replacing him with Justice Julius Sarkodee-Addo. So on, Justice Sarkodee-Addo w as removed after the  coup d'état  of 24 February 1966 by the military  National Liberation Council  government. Then came the third Chief Justices,  Edward Akufo-Addo , Edward Bannerman, Samuel Azu Crabbe, Fred Akpalu, E.N.P Sowah.
